IT Business Analyst

Our client is searching for someone to join a dynamic IT team focused on bridging business needs and technical solutions. This role plays a key part in enhancing customer experiences by refining and implementing IT requirements across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, this position offers opportunities to lead projects, drive innovation, and contribute to meaningful IT transformations.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Developing detailed specifications with accompanying test cases and mock-ups.
Liaising with developers, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet business needs.
Conducting rigorous product testing and coordinating end-user training sessions.
Maintaining up-to-date project reports, troubleshooting IT issues, and resolving user incidents.
Mentoring junior staff and recommending process improvements to optimise efficiency.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in IT business analysis, data application, or development, with a strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams is essential, along with excellent presentation and report-writing skills. Familiarity with airline reservation systems or GDSs is considered an advantage.
