Security and Internet Services Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for the proactive management and enhancement of our client's security and ISP infrastructure.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to;
Managing ISP environment including AAA, DNS and Linux operating systems.
Working with the Security Architect to review assets, identify weaknesses and ensure appropriate security is maintained.
Investigating security alerts and provide incident response within the ISP domain.
Manage monitoring and alerting tools.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience and qualifications in operating and maintaining Checkpoint firewalls. They will also have experience in configuring and maintaining security technologies such as EDR, IPS, log correlation, and SIEM. Additionally, they should have experience administering Linux operating systems and possess the ability to communicate effectively with both external parties and staff at all levels.
