Our client, a leader in the legal sector, is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Assistant to support their corporate, banking & finance, and investment funds teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work across jurisdictions, assisting with key marketing initiatives, event management, and business development activities.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the implementation of marketing and business development initiatives within the corporate practice area.
Assisting in the planning and organisation of events, including liaising with venues and third-party suppliers, managing RSVPs, and providing on-the-day support.
Creating and managing invitations, reminder campaigns, and follow-up emails for events and webinars.
Ensuring corporate lawyers have up-to-date marketing collateral and assisting in content creation and formatting using InDesign.
Supporting email marketing campaigns via the firm’s e-marketing system, ensuring CRM data is accurate and generating marketing reports.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and eager to develop their marketing and business development skills within a professional services environment. While experience in financial or professional services marketing is beneficial, it is not essential. Strong IT proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively are key. A degree (2:1 or above) is preferred, though exceptional college leavers will also be considered. A commitment to undertaking CIM qualifications post-probation is expected.
