Our client, a market leader in fund administration, private client, and corporate services, is on an exciting journey of transformation, investing in technology, innovation, and employee development. They are seeking an Assistant Company Secretary to support governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and corporate secretarial tasks across multiple jurisdictions, playing a key role in ensuring seamless operations and strategic decision-making. This role will operate on an initial fixed-term contract of 6 months.

Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:Maintaining and providing Corporate Due Diligence (CDD) and structure charts for the Group.
Overseeing and maintaining statutory registers and filings for Guernsey Group Companies.
Managing the corporate calendar and supporting Board and Committee meetings, including logistics, material distribution, agenda preparation, and action tracking.
Drafting company secretary reports and advising on Board composition, director appointments, and succession planning.
Supporting corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring, ensuring compliance with legal and governance standards.
Assisting in developing and implementing corporate policies and governance frameworks.
Ensuring timely statutory submissions for Guernsey Group companies and oversight of filings in other jurisdictions.
