The HR Advisor will deliver essential HR services within a modern HR Business Partnering model, supporting managers and service leads in applying best practices aligned with policies. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role provides accurate HR guidance to managers and employees, driving workforce engagement and compliance. Responsibilities

Deliver precise HR guidance across all stages of the employee lifecycle, including:
Recruitment, probation, and job descriptions.
Absence management and occupational health referrals.
Exit processes.
Support managers in interpreting employment terms and conditions.
Monitor and analyse absence data to foster a supportive work environment.
Address conduct and performance concerns, promoting early intervention and resolution.
Contribute to broader HR operations and compliance with HR standards.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have HR experience and a solid understanding of best practices, including policies, procedures, and employment legislation. They will hold or be willing to pursue a CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice. Strong interpersonal skills, an approachable and solution-focused style, and a high standard of written communication are essential. Excellent organisational skills, proficiency with IT tools and the ability to prioritise effectively are required to manage competing deadlines.
