Our client is seeking a Manager to lead and support their Recovery & Reorganisation team across Jersey and Guernsey. This key role involves managing a large portfolio of cases, providing guidance to team members, and ensuring high-quality client service while maintaining compliance with ethical and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing a portfolio of recovery and reorganisation cases, including asset realisations, investigations, and distributions.
Managing client relationships, liaising with creditors, and ensuring timely and cost-efficient case progress.
Supervising and coaching team members, delivering training, and conducting appraisals to support professional development.
Analysing and reporting on risk factors, case budgets, and billing plans to ensure efficient financial management.
Actively contributing to business development, marketing efforts, and cross-selling opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory requirements across all activities.

Skills / Qualifications

Candidates should hold a professional qualification in accounting or a related field, with at least 5 years’ experience in recovery and reorganisation, including both contentious and non-contentious matters. Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and case management software like IPS and DRIVE. Experience in managing client relationships and supervising teams with a commitment to technical excellence and service quality is also required.
