Our client is seeking a skilled Professional Support Lawyer to join their team. This role focuses on managing the firm’s knowledge systems, developing high-quality precedents, and leading professional development initiatives.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with internal teams and marketing professionals to prepare legal updates, practice notes, and client briefings.
Managing a centralised precedent bank, including reviewing and automating documents to enhance efficiency and address diverse client needs.
Delivering training on knowledge systems and processes, as well as organising forums and seminars to promote knowledge sharing.
Monitoring legal and regulatory changes and ensuring client-facing and internal documents are updated accordingly.
Supporting the implementation and effective use of knowledge management technologies in collaboration with IT and senior partners.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a qualified legal professional (English Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent) with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in private practice. Prior experience in knowledge management is advantageous, along with the ability to support fee earners in accessing and utilising resources effectively.
