Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic and ambitious Paralegal to become a vital part of their legal team. In this role, you’ll provide critical administrative and legal support to experienced lawyers, partners, and valued clients, working at the heart of a thriving legal practice.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring accurate setup of new client matters in the client accounting and database systems, including due diligence compliance.
Maintaining organised and up-to-date client files, archiving completed matters efficiently.
Coordinating diaries, scheduling meetings, and handling telephone enquiries.
Assisting in document creation, formatting presentations, and supporting legal seminars.
Conducting legal research to inform decision-making and case preparation.
Undertaking project work and participating in the development of the practice's know-how.
Supporting fee earners with clear and concise legal drafting and documentation.
Managing transactions, case files, and compliance with legal standards.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent legal qualification (LLB/GDL/LPC) and demonstrate strong analytical and organisational skills. Prior experience in a legal or professional office environment is desirable, and familiarity with Guernsey & Jersey law is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure are essential.
