This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected, global trust and fiduciary services provider. They are now seeking a proactive People & Culture Officer to support all areas of the employee lifecycle and help evolve their people-first initiatives.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Preparing documentation and responding to employee queries across all stages of the employee journey.
Administering the medical insurance scheme and staff pension plan, liaising with third-party brokers.
Assisting in the planning and delivery of wellbeing initiatives in line with the firm’s strategy.
Supporting recruitment activities including advising managers, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding.
Processing monthly payroll and compiling quarterly returns.
Coordinating salary survey data submissions and analysing outcomes.
Advising on complex staff matters and escalating as required.
Ensuring compliance with employment law, GDPR, and internal policies.
Generating reports and performing quality checks on documentation.
Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to process improvements.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in a generalist HR role and hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification, or be actively working towards Level 5. A solid understanding of local employment legislation is essential, alongside broad knowledge of core HR functions such as payroll, recruitment, and employee relations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to draft moderately complex documentation are important, as is the capability to manage tasks independently while maintaining awareness of wider business implications. This role is well-suited to someone proactive, pragmatic, and committed to delivering a high standard of confidential and professional HR support.
