A fantastic part-time opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist / Office Administrator to join a professional and welcoming healthcare team in Guernsey. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys engaging with people. The hours for this role are 25 per week.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
Greeting and assisting patients and visitors.
Scheduling patient appointments using the in-house system.
Handling payments and recording transactions accurately.
Assisting with patient queries and providing excellent customer service.
Supporting office administration, including handling correspondence, photocopying, and managing post.
Updating and maintaining records within the computerised GP system.
Ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
Assisting with additional office and administrative duties as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous reception or administrative experience, preferably in a busy office environment. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and maintain professionalism. Knowledge of the Microtest Evolution GP system is desirable, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A friendly, approachable nature, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset are key to success in this role.
