Our client is a leading organisation looking for a dynamic and proactive Secretary to join their team in Guernsey. This exciting role is to work as part of a team of secretaries providing secretarial and administrative support to a group of designated fee earners.

Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:Amending lengthy, complex legal documents accurately and promptly.
Checking and proofreading documents, making necessary amendments.
Creating new clients/matters in the Document Management system.
Copy typing and audio typing from tapes and electronic files.
Answering telephones, managing email messages, and assisting with conflict checks.
Booking meeting rooms, equipment, and catering services.
Managing files and archiving while ensuring all matter-opening data is captured.
Scheduling and updating diary appointments and arranging conference calls.
Supporting marketing and business development (M&BD) efforts, including formatting PowerPoint presentations and organising business trips.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a legal or professional environment, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Word, is essential, along with strong communication abilities and a high level of accuracy. A good standard of education, coupled with relevant secretarial or administration qualifications, would be advantageous.How To Apply
