An exciting opportunity to join a leading European stock exchange headquartered in Guernsey. As a Senior Analyst within the Market Regulation team, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of market surveillance, investigations, supervisory and enforcement recommendations related to market participants, as well as handling intelligence.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Supporting all aspects of market supervision and investigations.
Conducting market monitoring, analysis, and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with regulations.
Managing Active Cases, Watchlist issuers/members, and relevant Notable Events.
Handling matters escalated by market operations and providing appropriate responses.
Assisting with automated price movement exception reporting and manually reviewing Nova’s order book for price exceptions.
Engaging with Trading & Listing Members, ensuring strong relationships are maintained.
Providing management information and assisting in its development.
Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Exchange’s rules, particularly those around code of conduct, supervision, and enforcement.
Developing knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks, particularly concerning market abuse and financial crime obligations.
Undertaking continual professional development to stay up to date with relevant legal and regulatory matters.
Assisting in the management and delivery of board-approved trading and/or data services.

Skills / Qualifications

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and investigative skills, demonstrating a strong ability to assess complex information and exercise good judgement. They will be highly organised, capable of prioritising tasks effectively, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to engage confidently with a variety of stakeholders. A relevant ICA or CISI qualification and industry experience are required, along with a sound knowledge of market regulations and industry standards.
