Responsibilities
Deliver high-level HR support across the employee lifecycle for assigned operational areas.Manage HR Advisors and provide technical guidance on HR policies, compliance, and employee relations.
Proactively communicate updates and escalate risks to HR leadership.
Support operational managers in addressing staffing matters effectively.
Promote professional HR values in alignment with the People Strategy.
Oversee informal and formal HR case management for consistency and compliance.
Identify and address manager training needs to enhance effectiveness.
Contribute to HR operational plans with a focus on organisational change initiatives.
Skills / Qualifications
Hold or be willing to pursue a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.Extensive HR experience with a strong understanding of Guernsey employment legislation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence behaviours constructively and advocate for HR values.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise complex workloads and escalate risks appropriately.
Advanced IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to produce high-quality written communication, including emails, formal letters, and reports.
