They are now seeking a Compliance Administrator to support their Compliance team in Guernsey, playing a key role in regulatory monitoring, due diligence, and risk management.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Inspecting new sanctions against the CSP’s database
Monitoring sanction screening and adverse media screening platforms daily against client and asset lists, performing ad hoc checks as required
Assisting with compliance monitoring programme testing
Reviewing new Customer Due Diligence (CDD) files and updating/maintaining existing CDD records
Maintaining key regulatory registers, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), Powers of Attorney, Gifts, Conflicts, and Beneficial Ownership Submissions
Attending regular risk and compliance meetings
Undertaking ad hoc compliance tasks and projects to support the Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO)
Addressing regulatory and compliance queries to assist administration teams in fulfilling their duties and obligations
Preparing for and assisting with CDD reviews conducted by banking service providers
Reviewing Client Risk Assessments and New Business Applications, subject to experience

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in the financial services sector, with solid expertise in AML/CTF or a compliance-related role. A strong working knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory regime and experience dealing with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) is essential. Candidates should either hold or be working towards a relevant compliance qualification and be willing to participate in seminars and in-house training to stay updated on regulatory requirements.
