As Compliance Manager, MLRO, MLCO, and Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding regulatory integrity, overseeing compliance frameworks, and leading a dedicated team to maintain high standards across all financial and regulatory operations.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing compliance and regulatory risk within the business, ensuring a robust framework is in place.
Maintaining internal controls to mitigate risks of non-compliance and ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting structures are effective.
Leading a team of compliance professionals and contributing to high-level management discussions.
Acting as MLRO, overseeing money laundering risk, reporting suspicious activity, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
Acting as MLCO, ensuring the effectiveness of AML and CFT compliance frameworks, monitoring systems, and implementing corrective measures where necessary.
Acting as Compliance Officer, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and advising the Board on compliance-related matters.
Conducting gap analyses, reviewing new legislation, and enhancing policies to align with evolving regulatory requirements.
Playing an integral role in risk assessments, compliance audits, and regulatory reporting.
Providing training to staff to promote a culture of compliance and regulatory awareness.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications, including English and Maths, and ideally possess 2 A Levels or a degree-level qualification. Compliance and AML professional qualifications are essential, while additional management training or qualifications would be advantageous. With at least 5 years of compliance experience, they will ideally have a background in Trust and Company Administration or Pensions Administration. Strong supervisory and management experience, complemented by training in these areas, is essential, along with experience in delivering presentations or training.

They will have excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements, local codes, and policy matters, as well as a good understanding of trust, company, and pension administration.
