Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Risk, Regulation, and FinTech team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide strategic advisory services to clients within the financial services sector, helping them navigate complex regulatory landscapes, implement innovative FinTech solutions, and manage risk effectively.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing project delivery teams and overseeing delivery timelines to ensure successful client outcomes.
Leading regulatory risk and compliance engagements, providing clients with strategic guidance.
Supporting clients in navigating local and international risk, governance, and regulatory changes.
Advising on the implementation of financial technology solutions and FinCrime mitigation strategies.
Overseeing multi-million-pound financial services remediation programmes.
Providing expertise in anti-financial crime consulting and managed services.
Managing and mentoring junior team members, supporting their professional development.
Ensuring adherence to internal compliance policies and external regulatory requirements.
Driving business development initiatives and contributing to the firm's growth strategy.
Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across various levels.
Leading the creation of proposal documents and marketing materials.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in financial services, with a minimum of 4 years in risk, regulation, or FinTech consulting. Strong knowledge of anti-financial crime regulations and governance frameworks is essential, along with experience managing large-scale projects and working with core financial services technologies. The role requires exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to prepare high-quality reports on complex technical matters. Industry-recognised qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CISI, ICA, ACAMS, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous.
