Our client, a leading professional services firm, known for its dynamic and innovative approach to Advisory, Tax, Audit, and other assurance services are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager to play a crucial role in driving data governance, strategy, and analytics, ensuring the effective management and utilisation of data across the business.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Developing and implementing local data strategies aligned with global objectives, ensuring data is a key enabler of business growth and operations.
Collaborating with senior leadership to identify key data initiatives and priorities.
Ensuring data governance compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Managing the development and implementation of data governance tools and technologies to enhance data processing and reporting.
Working closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide insights.
Driving the investigation, research, and resolution of data matters affecting business operations.
Performing data analysis to support business decision-making.
Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Presenting data findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in data management, data governance, or a related technology field, with expertise in managing data projects. They will possess a strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including data classification, data privacy, and security best practices. Proficiency in using data management tools and technologies, particularly those covering data reporting, analysis, cataloguing, and quality assurance, is essential. Experience working with software such as Microsoft Purview, Power BI, and Alteryx would be an advantage.
