Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing a portfolio of commercial and financial institution clients, delivering high-quality service and tailored insurance solutions.
Handling renewals, obtaining competitive terms, and identifying alternative quotations where necessary.
Advising clients on policy changes, terms, and conditions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and market standards.
Preparing documentation for both new and existing clients, ensuring timely renewals and mid-term adjustments.
Negotiating with insurers on behalf of clients, handling queries and claims (excluding motor) to achieve favourable outcomes.
Processing relevant documentation efficiently, maintaining the highest levels of client administration and accuracy.
Developing strong relationships with clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Supporting Account Executives by managing workload distribution and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of general insurance products, services, and underwriting principles. They should be well-versed in commercial insurance, professional indemnity, directors & officers (D&O), and financial institution (FI) policies. A risk-aware approach to handling customer information is essential, along with the ability to assess potential risks and escalate concerns when necessary. Candidates must possess confident and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent customer service abilities. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure without supervision are key attributes. A Cert CII qualification is required, and candidates should be willing to work towards Dip CII certification.
