Assistant Vice President - Compliance

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Vice President to join their Compliance team. This role involves providing crucial support to the MLRO, MLCO, and Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with financial crime regulations and internal frameworks.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Supporting MLRO/MLCO with compliance and regulatory tasks.
Managing IDRs and deputising for the MLRO when needed.
Assisting with audits, site visits, and regulatory reviews.
Ensuring compliance with financial crime laws and frameworks.
Reviewing onboarding and conducting periodic compliance checks.
Preparing reports and contributing to system enhancements.
Delivering AML/CFT training and offering financial crime advice.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of compliance experience within an international financial services organisation, preferably banking. A strong understanding of financial crime regulations and international sanctions in Guernsey is essential, alongside an ICA Diploma or equivalent qualification.
