Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:Answering incoming calls from clients and external suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.
Assisting the team supervisor and manager to ensure the smooth running of the department and escalating any issues as needed.
Collating and accurately filing literature and documents, including electronic filing of correspondence.
Managing insurance document processing, including data entry, scanning, and handling renewals.
Collecting premiums, processing accounts, and following up on aged debt to ensure timely payments.
Preparing insurance quotes, client correspondence, and presentations.
Providing professional customer service, including advising clients face-to-face and over the phone.
Monitoring and actioning team diary entries, alongside general office duties such as spreadsheet maintenance.
Researching policies from various insurers and uploading documents onto the broker system.
Supporting the team by processing documentation for personal lines of business and assisting with policy changes.
Building professional relationships with insurers and service providers.
