Join this aviation provider in a key operational leadership role. As Pilot Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of pilots, leading recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring that safety, compliance, and culture are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing the pilot team and serving as their primary point of contact.
Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
Monitoring performance, attendance, and ensuring operational readiness.
Managing HR processes including appraisals, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
Maintaining the Aircrew Handbook and Local Procedures Manual.
Delivering communications that align with company values and regulatory expectations.
Liaising with senior leadership to ensure alignment of departmental strategy.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous line management experience in an operational or aviation setting, with excellent people management, communication, and organisational skills. Experience in managing complex employee matters and driving performance is key. A calm, proactive and supportive approach to leadership is required. Local residency and a clean 5 year employment record will be required for airside clearance.
