Our client's Fund Administration team is at the heart of Guernsey’s venture capital industry, working with innovative and fast-growing businesses. As a Trainee Fund Administrator, you will gain hands-on experience in fund operations while studying towards a professional qualification—setting you up for a successful future in the industry.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with all aspects of fund administration, including VC funds, management companies, and associated fund vehicles.
Processing fund operations such as inputting payments, preparing receipt packs, and managing investor changes.
Maintaining accurate investor and fund records within relevant systems.
Supporting company secretarial tasks, including preparing minutes, board packs, and reports.
Handling ad-hoc client requests and contributing to project work as required by the team.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They will be eager to learn, committed to professional studies, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. While previous office experience will be beneficial, it will not be essential—enthusiasm and drive will be key. They will have GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, with A-levels preferred.
