Join a leading provider of connectivity solutions in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man as an IP Network Technician. This opportunity offers a dynamic working environment where you will support core IP operations and help maintain critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the operation and maintenance of IP & MPLS networks, Corporate LANs, and broadband platforms.
Assisting with the configuration and management of product offerings.
Participating in the enhancement of services and implementation of new technologies.
Managing network monitoring tools and escalating issues as required.
Supporting internal coordination between product, service, and technical teams.
Participating in the call-out rota post-qualification and working off-Island as needed.
Attaining and maintaining at least one technical associate qualification (e.g., JNCIA or CCNA).

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in technology and networking, with a basic understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and core networking concepts. A willingness to learn about Cisco and Juniper systems is essential. The role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and a motivated, methodical approach. Previous exposure to RADIUS, BNGs, or DDoS protection is advantageous but not essential. A full driving licence is required.
