FTC Retail Sales Consultant

Our client is seeking a confident and motivated individual to join their Guernsey-based retail team on a 10-month contract. In this customer-facing role, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals looking to explore a variety of mobile and residential services.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Greeting all customers with a warm and professional approach.
Delivering an efficient, honest and helpful sales service across all mobile and residential products.
Ensuring all customer needs are fully met, or that they leave with a clear process in place for resolution.
Demonstrating products and services with clarity and enthusiasm.
Providing accurate information to help customers make informed decisions.
Using in-store systems competently following training.
Responding to customer queries via face-to-face interaction, phone, and email, aiming to resolve issues within one working day.
Working to achieve personal and team sales targets.
Processing orders and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting new team member training when required.
Participating in all relevant training and staff briefings.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and an approachable, solution-focused attitude. Previous experience in sales or a retail environment is essential, alongside a strong interest in modern technology. You’ll need excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. A good level of IT competency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, will be advantageous.
