Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Compliance, to assist their Risk and Compliance Director in managing and developing compliance processes within the organisation. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, optimising risk management, and providing strategic compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

Aligning firm’s risk ratings and criteria with GFSC and regulatory standards.
Reviewing country risk profiles and ensuring data accuracy.
Preparing compliance review reports for management.
Monitoring breaches, recommending actions, and supporting resolutions.
Overseeing AML/CFT/CPF reviews and raising concerns.
Managing Suspicious Activity Reports in the MLRO’s absence.
Advising on compliance forms and guidance updates.
Leading, training, and ensuring best practices within the compliance team.
Conducting due diligence and approving business and event packs.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a senior-level professional with significant technical expertise and a proven track record in compliance. They will hold a relevant compliance qualification, possess in-depth knowledge of GFSC regulations and data protection laws, excel in communication and the ability to simplify complex information and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
