Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing management accounting for revenue recognition and payables reporting in collaboration with the Financial Accountant.
Implementing and maintaining a procurement management system across the business.
Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
Providing daily cashflow reports with rolling forecasts to the Head of Department: Finance.
Developing and advancing technology within the finance department to enhance management reporting.
Preparing ad-hoc financial reports to meet evolving business needs.

Skills / Qualifications

The successful candidate will bring expertise in management and financial accounting, with a strong technical ability and a proven track record in providing timely and accurate financial reporting. They will be proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAGE) and Microsoft Office, with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is essential, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional development. Knowledge of the aviation sector or high-volume environments is desirable but not essential.
