Our client is seeking a Senior Inventory Manager to lead the optimisation of inventory capabilities, develop industry-best practices, and contribute to strategic supply chain improvements. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to drive meaningful changes within the organisation, with a focus on collaboration, leadership, and innovation.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Leading cross-functional teams to optimise inventory management and implement best practices.
Reporting KPIs to support business targets and improve supply chain processes.
Managing the Inventory team to develop forecasts, place orders, and execute optimisation plans.
Establishing processes to enhance inventory planning and organisational skills.
Recruiting, mentoring, and building a high-performing team for future leadership roles.
Developing strategies to balance investment and ensure top-tier customer service.
Collaborating with supply chain leaders to drive inventory process improvements.
Integrating the Slimstock inventory tool as a key deliverable for 2025.
Conducting analysis to determine optimal stock ranges and align intake targets.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a proactive and data-driven approach to problem-solving. Essential criteria include demonstrated expertise in logistics, data analysis, and inventory management, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Experience with inventory tools such as Slimstock and managing a high volume of SKUs is desirable. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related fields and relevant certifications would be advantageous.
