They’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Customer Service Representative to join them on a temporary basis, playing a key role in ensuring clients receive first-class support and seamless service.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Welcoming and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner while following security procedures.
Troubleshooting client issues, providing answers, and escalating concerns when necessary.
Handling queries about products and services via phone, email, or post, referring them to brokers when needed.
Efficiently using phone and ticketing systems to manage client interactions.
Processing policy changes, cancellations, and other administrative tasks with accuracy and speed.
Keeping broker diaries updated and following up with clients regarding renewals, payments, or missing documents.
Providing policy copies, no-claims bonus letters, and managing payments as required.
Promoting additional insurance products to attract new customers.
Building product knowledge to ensure professional and compliant service delivery.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above), experience in a busy customer service environment, and strong communication skills. They will be detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask effectively. A proactive approach to conflict resolution, basic IT proficiency, and a willingness to learn about the insurance industry are essential.
