Trust Accountant

Our client is seeking a dedicated Accountant. While Alderney is the preferred location, they are open to applicants based in Guernsey.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to;
Preparing financial statements according to FRS 102 (A) and Trust accounting standards.
Supporting the business in delivering a strong finance function and assist in improving systems and processes across the business.
Any other ad hoc projects.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be qualified or part-qualified in CA (SA), ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, with a solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP. Practical experience is essential, though it does not need to be within the trust or fiduciary sector. Strong communication skills and an excellent eye for detail are also required.
