This wholly independent Trust Company are seeking a suitably qualified Head of Compliance to join their team. Part-time/reduced hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to;
Providing support and guidance to all staff in all matters of compliance regulation.
Developing and strengthening relationships with the Directors and staff to promote best practice and ensure a good understanding of compliance requirements.
Assessing forthcoming regulatory legislation and its impact on the Company’s business.
Signing off of documentation which requires MLCO or MLRO authorisation, including CDD checklists and financial crime risk assessments.
Ensuring adherence to the company's policies and procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a compliance role at managerial level, possess good organisational skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
