Our client’s new Technology Supervision Unit (TSU) is at the forefront of regulating industry innovations, from AI tools and blockchain to cybersecurity systems and data management. As a Technical Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping supervisory practices, conducting in-depth reviews, and guiding industry standards in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Leading on-site supervision, including planning, coordinating, and personally conducting reviews and thematic work.
Engaging with licensees during on-site visits to gather detailed information and provide comprehensive feedback.
Reviewing and following up on post-visit reports, ensuring key findings and trends are addressed.
Presenting findings to licensees and contributing to Risk Governance Panels.
Overseeing reviews of industry use of technology, including AI tools, blockchain, compliance systems, and cybersecurity.
Assisting in developing the supervisory policy framework for emerging technologies.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for innovation in the financial sector. They should bring expertise in areas like AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, or data management, with a proven ability to lead complex reviews and provide clear, actionable insights. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively across supervisory divisions. Experience in a regulatory or supervisory environment is desirable, but not essential for candidates with relevant technical expertise.
