As an Assistant Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting professional intermediaries by ensuring accurate and insightful investment portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Collecting, verifying, and loading client investment data from various sources, including investment managers and data vendors.
Assisting with the preparation of reports and analysing investment performance data.
Supporting the ‘Data Team initiative’ by managing the collection and organisation of investment portfolios in multiple formats.
Ensuring data integrity by identifying discrepancies and addressing any issues.
Engaging in day-to-day client and manager interactions under supervision.
Assisting in the collation of client verification documentation during the client take-on process.
Adhering to compliance procedures, including anti-money laundering monitoring and IT security protocols.
Gaining proficiency in internal reporting systems and ensuring accurate data maintenance.
Providing general administrative support to senior management as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, particularly in numeracy and literacy, demonstrated through solid A-Level or GCSE results. While a degree in a relevant subject is beneficial, it is not essential. They should have an active interest in financial markets and learning about the companies products and services. With enthusiasm and appropriate professional conduct with colleagues, clients and visitors. Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities are key, along with IT literacy and an ability to work collaboratively within a team. No previous experience is necessary, making this an excellent opportunity to begin a rewarding career in investment analysis.
