Our client is a trusted leader in the financial services sector, known for their commitment to innovation, regulatory excellence, and client-centred solutions. They are currently seeking a KYC Quality Assurance & Risk Evaluator to join their Guernsey team on a temporary basis for 12 months.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Conducting risk-based quality checks and assurance on KYC activities for corporates, trustees, and individual customers.
Analysing corporate structures and conducting detailed research using investigation tools.
Determining customer risk profiles as part of approval processes and due diligence requirements.
Ensuring adherence to AML, due diligence, and fraud controls, referring cases to MLRO/MLCO as necessary.
Performing compliance testing, identifying gaps, and updating customer profiles as needed.
Collaborating with operational and compliance teams to escalate issues and support resolution.
Providing progress reports on scheduled reviews and maintaining evidence records as per defined procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the finance industry, ideally with three years’ experience in CDD/AML and customer risk reviews, including corporate structures. A relevant certificate or diploma is preferred, alongside a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
