Join a forward-thinking fiduciary firm as a Risk Reviewer, where you will play a key role in overseeing fiduciary and compliance risks across client structures. This position involves conducting periodic risk reviews, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and collaborating with various teams to strengthen the firm’s governance framework.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Undertaking periodic fiduciary and compliance reviews of a portfolio of client structures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Assisting with the scheduling and coordination of reviews throughout the year.
Liaising with all staff on areas of risk and providing guidance on compliance matters.
Supporting the production of quarterly risk reports for the Board.
Working closely with the Compliance team to ensure company-wide adherence to procedures and legislation, including conducting new business searches where required.
Assisting the Associate Director – Risk & Compliance in reviewing, recommending, and implementing ad hoc training initiatives for staff.
Acting as a committee member of the Risk Committee and supporting the ongoing review of policies and procedures.
Keeping up to date with regulatory updates, industry developments, and case studies relevant to fiduciary and compliance risk management.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the fiduciary industry, with previous experience in a risk-based role. They will be comfortable conducting fiduciary and compliance risk reviews, drafting procedures, and preparing reports for senior management. A strong working knowledge of relevant regulations, rules, and codes is essential, alongside a recognised professional qualification such as STEP or an equivalent certification.
