Our client is looking for a Trainee Fund Administrator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to start their career in fund administration, supporting a portfolio of regulated and unregulated funds.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with the administration of a varied portfolio of Guernsey-domiciled regulated, listed, and unregulated structures.
Supporting the preparation of capital transactions, investor communications, and the maintenance of investor records.
Assisting with company secretarial tasks, including preparing board packs, agendas, and taking minutes.
Providing assistance with client due diligence and regulatory reporting, including FATCA/CRS and statutory filings.
Processing banking transactions, payment instructions, and bookkeeping under supervision.
Working closely with colleagues to develop technical knowledge and an understanding of the industry.
Maintaining accurate daily time records and ensuring all activities comply with internal policies.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. They will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. A sound educational background, with confidence in English and Mathematics, is essential. The candidate should be eager to work towards a relevant professional qualification, such as the ICSA Certificate in Fund Administration, and possess the interpersonal skills required to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and intermediaries.
