Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing and overseeing team operations, including cash management and discretionary power exercises.
Monitoring and maintaining accurate records, both statutory and operational.
Reviewing and assessing investment portfolios to ensure alignment with client goals.
Providing actionable management insights to senior leadership and attending key management meetings.
Driving team performance to meet utilisation targets and ensuring timely invoicing and payment collections.
Acting as the primary relationship manager for a selection of valued clients and intermediaries.
Identifying and capitalising on opportunities to cross-sell services and strengthen client relationships.
Mentoring and supervising the team by setting SMART objectives, offering training, and conducting performance appraisals.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in trust and company administration, underpinned by strong leadership capabilities and a client-first approach. You’ll hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA, or ACCA and bring excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills. A sound understanding of Guernsey’s regulatory landscape is essential, along with a willingness to travel when required.
