They are seeking a Senior Trust Officer to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, ensuring efficient trust and company administration while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing the daily administration of trusts and companies within an assigned portfolio.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, bankers, brokers, and professional advisors.
Conducting periodic file reviews and ensuring compliance with KYC procedures.
Overseeing client billing and collection processes.
Assisting with the onboarding of new business and maintenance of statutory records.
Reviewing and interpreting legal agreements, including property contracts.
Coordinating and executing mandate-specific transactions.
Providing technical support and mentoring junior staff members.
Ensuring ongoing professional development through a minimum of 25 hours of CPD annually.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be ICSA or STEP qualified (or part-qualified) with at least five years of trust administration experience. They will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret and review complex documentation. Strong organisational skills and good knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable, along with the ability to lead by example and interact with colleagues at all levels. CPD is a compulsory requirement for all trust company business employees.
