As a Trust Officer, you will manage a diverse portfolio of trust, company, and partnership structures, working closely with clients and professional advisors to ensure high-quality administration.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Administering a portfolio of trust, company, and limited partnership structures for private and corporate clients.
Liaising with clients, bankers, brokers, and professional advisors to ensure efficient entity management.
Maintaining statutory records and preparing company secretarial documents, including minutes, resolutions, agreements, and regulatory filings.
Acting as an administrator for the Guernsey Registry, handling annual validations, statutory filings, and Beneficial Owner Register submissions.
Providing administrative support across the fiduciary team during staff holidays and absences.
Preparing and processing payments, including compiling backup documentation, compliance screening, and scanning.
Managing online banking transactions and acting as a B Signatory for payment authorisation.
Monitoring internal and client-specific group email inboxes, profiling relevant communications, and undertaking workflow actions.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in offshore trust and company administration and be STEP-qualified or willing to study towards this qualification. They must demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills, alongside the ability to balance independent decision-making with collaborative teamwork. A good understanding of trust and company administration, accounting, and legal principles is required. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), accounting software, and online banking systems is essential, while experience with Acumen and M-Files is advantageous but not required, as training will be provided.
