Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing the management and development of a portfolio of clients/structures within the Private Client Service Line.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal policy requirements, maintaining high standards of client service.
Acting as an authorised signatory in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Attending meetings with clients, advisors, and third parties, fostering long-term relationships.
Managing correspondence, reporting, and administrative matters related to trusts, companies, and other legal entities.
Participating in strategic planning and business development initiatives to support company growth.
Taking an active role in sourcing and onboarding new business opportunities.
Leading and mentoring a team, providing technical guidance and training to staff.
Conducting performance appraisals and contributing to recruitment and development plans.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a professional qualification meeting Table A requirements under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 or equivalent, along with a minimum of 10 years' experience in fiduciary administration or financial services. They should have strong knowledge of trust and company administration, with a solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to build strong client relationships. The role requires strong leadership and people management abilities, including experience in mentoring and developing staff. A high level of organisation and the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment are key, along with a proactive and solution-driven approach to problem-solving.
