Join our client, a well-established and respected insurance provider in the Channel Islands as a Customer Service Representative, and will work closely with the Broking Teams to provide outstanding customer support, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of service.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Welcoming and assisting visitors in a professional manner while adhering to security procedures.
Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and post, escalating complex queries to brokers where necessary.
Using phone and ticketing systems efficiently to manage customer interactions.
Processing policy changes, cancellations, and other administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
Keeping broker diaries up to date and following up with clients regarding renewals, payments, and documentation.
Providing policy documentation, no-claims bonus letters, and managing payment transactions.
Identifying opportunities to promote additional insurance products to potential clients.
Continuously building product knowledge to ensure professional and compliant service delivery.
Suggesting improvements to internal systems and processes for enhanced customer experience.
Maintaining clear and effective communication with both colleagues and customers to support team performance.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above) and previous experience in a fast-paced customer service role. Strong communication and client care skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to resolving customer issues. The ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and use office tools competently is required. A willingness to develop knowledge of the insurance sector and work towards a professional qualification will be highly regarded.
