Our client is known for its expertise in delivering tailored fund solutions and fostering professional growth. As an Assistant Manager, you will take the lead in overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless fund administration while mentoring a talented team.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Acting as the first point of contact for clients alongside Senior Fund Administrators and leading a sub-team.
Supervising and supporting the day-to-day activities of Senior Fund Administrators, Fund Administrators, and Trainee Fund Administrators.
Reviewing and approving work produced by junior team members, including payments as a ‘B signatory’.
Monitoring and maintaining client mailboxes, ensuring timely responses to queries.
Providing coaching, training, and development support to the fund administration team.
Assisting managers with key tasks and workload monitoring.
Reviewing and approving external communications before circulation as necessary.
Leading client administration tasks, including:
Fundraising and investor onboarding.
Handling client and investor queries.
Managing investment purchases, disposals, consents, and transfers.
Overseeing investor transfers.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure. They will have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for efficiency improvements. A solid understanding of fund administration, compliance regulations, and financial services is essential. Candidates should either hold or be working towards a recognised professional qualification such as CGI (ICSA), ACCA, or ACA, or have at least 5 years of relevant fund/fiduciary administration experience. Strong regulatory knowledge, including GFSC requirements, is required.
