Our client, a well-established and dynamic organisation, is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join their team on a 9-month maternity cover contract commencing in April. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety, as it combines key HR responsibilities with overseeing the smooth operation of a busy office.

Responsibilities

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
Leading recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, including contracts, inductions, and exit interviews.
Managing employee records, benefit schemes, and payroll data input.
Supporting performance management, training, and employee relations.
Advising on HR matters and ensuring compliance with legislation.
Preparing HR summaries and assisting with HR strategy.
Overseeing office operations, supplies, health and safety, and ad hoc projects.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the finance sector. A CIPD qualification or relevant professional degree is highly desirable. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage confidential matters and maintain high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
