Responsibilities
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:Evaluating, identifying, and mitigating legal, risk, and compliance matters, including adherence to fiduciary regulations and anti-financial crime legislation.
Managing corporate governance processes, including record-keeping and compliance with corporate formalities.
Supporting the Director in reviewing, updating, and implementing legal, risk, and compliance policies.
Ensuring the company remains fully compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Overseeing Customer Risk Assessments and Periodic Reviews, providing oversight of action points.
Maintaining compliance databases, registers, and preparing regulatory returns.
Monitoring regulatory developments, assessing their impact, and advising on necessary adjustments.
Providing training and guidance to employees on legal, risk, and compliance matters.
Skills / Qualifications
The successful candidate will have proven experience in legal, risk, or compliance management within the financial or fiduciary services sector. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a keen eye for regulatory detail. The ability to communicate complex legal and compliance issues in a clear and practical manner is essential. A relevant professional qualification in compliance, legal, or risk management would be highly desirable.How To Apply
